3. English language support for incoming students
To facilitate the integration of our incoming Erasmus students, we offer a selection of "English Friendly" subjects. While these courses are primarily taught in Spanish, professors commit to providing specific support in English to ensure you can follow the curriculum successfully.
What is an English Friendly subject?
These are subjects taught in Spanish but with a formal commitment to support international students through:
• Support from teacher: This refers to tutorials or the opportunity to ask questions or express doubts in class.
• Teaching materials: Materials used in class (PowerPoint slides, practical guides, etc.).
• Course bibliography: Bibliographic references that allow students to follow the syllabus, even if they are not the ones used in class.
We divide the subjects into these support levels.
Levels Description
A Lessons in English (language of instruction for this course is English), support from teacher, teaching materials and exam in English
B Lessons in Spanish, support from teacher, teaching materials and exam in English
C Lessons in Spanish, support from teacher, exam and course bibliography in English
D Lessons in Spanish, support from teacher, course bibliography in English
E Lessons in Spanish, support from teacher in English
F No support for English language
Note for students: The classification of a subject in these categories does not imply an obligation on the part of the teaching staff, but rather the professors' intention to help exchange students. Subject to change.
