We are super-delighted to offer a 5-year PostDoc Position at the Department of Geoinformatics of University of Salzburg (www.plus.ac.at/geoinformatik). The Department of Geoinformatics (Z_GIS) offers an excellent and vibrant research environment having 7 different research groups on GISc and Earth Observation with approx. 90 employees. The PostDoc position should strengthen the new group on GeoAI & GeoKGs that will be established by February 2024! Currently, the group is transitioning from Graz University of Technology, and was able to secure several externally funded research projects. The candidate should have a strong research background in the field of Geographic Information Science, and should have an interest in at least one of the mentioned fields: Spatial Data Science, Geospatial Artificial Intelligence, GeoKnowledge Graphs, spatial Linked Data.
